Early Years Story Sharing with Sandra Agard

Interactive storytelling from Sandra Agard – featuring African, Caribbean, Afro-American and World Tales. Stories for young children and their families brought alive with language, dance and song. A creative and inspiring free workshop celebrating language and stories for children ( 0-5 years ) and their parents/grandparents and carers. This event is part of the Black History Programme for Leicester Neighbourhood Services.

Make a mask, enjoy a short play and participate in a reading of an animal fable for young and old. Writer Bobba Cass and illustrator Peter Buckley engage those who love the reading of books plus entertainer Ishi Khan draws in an audience to this launch of Danny Dolphin and the Nation State.

Her novels have received widespread critical acclaim from authors including Val McDermid, Lee Child, Martina Cole and David Baldacci. Rattle and The Collector are being adapted into a 10-part TV series. The Neighbour is her third book. She is published in more than 15 languages.
