Abda Khan talks about her latest novel Razia

Abda Khan’s first novel Stained dealt with hidden sexual abuse in the Muslim community. Her second book, Razia, tackles modern slavery. Farah, a young lawyer, is invited by her boss to his exclusive apartment in Knightsbridge. There she discovers Razia, who is trapped as a slave by the family. Desperate to uncover the truth, Farah teams up with a human rights lawyer but at every turn they encounter corruption and seemingly unrelenting oppression. Abda will talk about her novel, the background to it and read extracts. There will be a question and answer session at the end.
