| FIND OUT It’s an exciting time at Blackburn as the Central Library is currently undergoing a major refurbishment. By April 2003 it will have a whole new look, geared to making it both look more appealing and easier to use. Listen to the latest sounds at our listening posts, check what’s on our plasma screen, sample the latest in ebook technology, enjoy a snack at our coffee bar or just chill out in one of our comfortable seating areas. |

| JOIN UP who can join: Joining Blackburn Central library, or any of our branches is easy and free. what you need to bring along in order to join: People wishing to join need only an address, date of birth and two forms of identification. what you get: Once you are a member, you may borrow up to: 10 books 6 recorded sound items 4 videos 2 CD Roms There are charges for the hire of audio/visual items: Videos £1 per week CD’s, records or music cassettes 50p per week DVD’s £2 per week You can reserve any item . You can re-new any item by phone. There are some exemptions, details of these can be obtained at the library. |
