JOIN UP

To join the library you need simply to show two forms of ID and fill in a simple form. (We can help you with this)

Item A: Document showing your name and address
Item B: Document showing your name or signature or a photograph.

Asylum seekers should also bring along two forms of ID one showing asylum seeker status and one showing address.

Under 18's
Children can join at any age and don't need to provide any identification but the application form must be signed by a parent or guardian.

16-18's
People aged 16-18 may either bring in relevant ID or have the application form signed by a parent or guardian.

We normally ask under 16's for a parent's signature, and over 16's for proof of address. However, young people in care or living in hostels or temporary accommodation can join if they bring in either a benefit book with there address on or note signed by a hostel warden, youth worker or professional person who knows where they are staying. If there have been problems in the past with fines or un-returned items, come and talk to us, we will try to sort them out. Please ask to speak to either Steven Lythgoe or Joy Brown.
